Mrs. Mamie Ruth Kitchens Stradtner Brackett, 82, of Drake, died Aug. 17, 2013, at The Medical Center in Franklin.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Crafton Funeral Home, where services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, with burial to follow in the White’s Chapel Cemetery in Drake.

A native of Warren County, she was the daughter of the late Jesse James Kitchens and Edna Pearl Kitchens. She was a member of White’s Chapel Methodist Church. She had worked at the Lenk Co. in Franklin and the Twilight Nursing Home in Woodburn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny James Stradtner; a son, Nelson Stradtner; two sisters, Dorothy Kitchens and Geneva Kitchens; and a grandson, Jamie Stradtner.

Survivors include eight children, Jerry Stradtner and wife Jenny of Franklin, Gaylon Stradtner and wife Tammy of Bowling Green, Darrell Stradtner and wife Paula of Franklin, Danny Joe Stradtner and wife Brenda of Rockfield, Doug Stradtner and wife Leah of Franklin, Becky Brown and husband David of Drake, Tim Stradtner and wife Kathy of Franklin and Eric Stradtner and wife Michelle of Bowling Green; a sister, Betty Lightfoot of Drake; an uncle, Freeman Kitchens of Drake; 34 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. today and after 6 a.m. Wednesday at Crafton Funeral Home.
