Mrs. Hazel Travelstead Ford, 72, of Franklin, died Sept. 23, 2013, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Crafton Funeral Home, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, with entombment to follow in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
A native of Simpson County, she was the daughter of the late Carlos Clayton Travelstead and Nettie Dobbs Travelstead. Mrs. Ford was a member of the Franklin First United Methodist Church. She was retired from the Simpson County school system, where she was a cook.
Survivors include her husband, James Dale Ford of Franklin; three sons, Brian Dale Ford of Florence, Gregory Scott Ford of Bowling Green and Joel Dwayne Ford of Hebron; two brothers, C.C. Travelstead of Allen County and L.B. Travelstead of Franklin; a sister, Gayle Butler of Franklin; and five grandchildren, Rachel Madison Ford, Noah Benjamin Ford, Spencer Cole Ford, Lyndie Elizabeth Ford and Michaela Marie Ford.
Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. today and after 6 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
