Sloane Ramsey Remaly was born September 30, 2013 at 11:29 am to parents Kelly and Meredith (Gault) Remaly. She weighed 4 pounds 11 ounces and was 17 ½ inches long.
Sloane blessed her parents with a wonderful 46 hours and 36 minutes before she went to join the angels in heaven at 10:05 a.m. October 2, 2013. She experienced an uncountable amount of snuggles, kisses and being told “I love you” repeatedly by her mommy and daddy. She has touched so many lives with her strength and beauty and has forever found a place their hearts.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her maternal grandparents Burt Gault of Bowling Green, Patty Gault of Trenton and paternal grandparents Robert and Judy Remaly of Scottsville. Her maternal great-grandparents are Dilly and Mary Turner of Elkton and Bryan Blount of Elkton. Paternal great grandparents are Evelyn Vogelsong of Scottsville and Martha Shirley of Louisville. She was preceded in death by maternal great-grandmother Marilyn Blount and paternal great-grandfathers Ralph Vogelsong and Garnett Shirley. Sloane is also survived by loving aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends who have given prayers and support throughout her journey.
The Remalys would like to thank the doctors and staff at the Bowling Green Medical Center for their compassion and caring support during the arrival of Sloane and her care after birth. They would also like to thank Latham Funeral Home for their kindness and generosity in covering the expense of her cremation.
