Mrs. Bernice Keck Dowse of Bowling Green died at 10:45 p.m. Sept. 29, 2013, in Tucson, Ariz.
Born on March 26, 1926, in Lebanon, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Stella Sewald. She is survived by her husband, Richard K. Dowse of Tucson, and her three sons, John Keck Jr. and his wife, Janice, of Jasper, Ala., Steven Keck and his wife, Jody, of Somerset, and Thomas Keck and his wife, Becky, of Brentwood, Tenn.
Other survivors include nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Bernice was a very active longtime member of State Street United Methodist Church and a sales specialist with Castner Knott for over 25 years until her retirement. Her passions in life were family, friends, traveling, gardening and hospitality extended through her love of cooking. She was a very special person and will be missed dearly.
Visitation and services will be Saturday at State Street United Methodist. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon. The funeral services will start at noon, with interment following the church service at Fairview Cemetery No. 2.
