Floyd Key, 84, of Bowling Green, went to be with his Lord on Oct. 13, 2013, at 10:32 p.m. at The Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 25, 1929, in Boyce. He retired from Eaton after 28 years. He was a member and served as a deacon at the Plano Chapel Holiness Church. He served during the Korean War in the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Opal Key of Bowling Green; son Michael Floyd Key (Shirley) of Alvaton; a daughter, Teresa White (Garry) of Bowling Green; a sister, Irene Sidebottom of Bowling Green; a brother, the Rev. Ivan Key of Bowling Green; grandchildren Jennifer Scott (John) and Kara Reid (Aaron), both of Bowling Green, and Jessica Page (Roy) of Brownsville and John and Sherry Richardson, both of Alvaton; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews and three sisters-in-law.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Plano Chapel Holiness Church. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Plano Chapel Holiness Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
