Craft, Roxie Mae Gammon

Roxie Mae Gammon Craft, 88, of Bowling Green, passed away at 2:40 p.m. Nov. 13, 2013, at her residence.

The Macon County, Tenn., native was born Feb. 26, 1925, to the late George W. and Paggie Shrum Gammon and was preceded in death by her husband, Sydney H. Craft; her daughter, Jean Jones; two brothers, P.W. and David Gammon; and a sister, Olvie Irene Bilbrey. She was employed by Union Underwear for 37 years and was a member of Three Springs Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Old Union Baptist Church Cemetery.

Survivors include a son, Phil Ausbrooks of Bowling Green; a sister, Connie Childers and husband, Larry, of Bowling Green; caretaker and friend Delton Ragan of Bowling Green; two grandsons, Jason Ausbrooks of Morgantown and Tim Jones and Sue of Bowling Green; three stepchildren, Roger Craft and Eugene Craft and his wife, Triva, and Lawanda and Leo Merideth; and several nieces and nephews.
