Mr. Ricky Wilson Mooneyhan, 49, of Franklin, died Jan. 28, 2014, at his residence.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Crafton Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Franklin First Baptist Church, with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.

A native of Simpson County, he was the son of James Mooneyhan of Franklin and the late Hannelore Schaefer Mooneyhan. He had served the last 30 years as the athletic trainer for Franklin-Simpson sports and was the athletic fields supervisor. He had also worked at the former Homestead Hardware for 13 years. Mr. Mooneyhan was a member and a deacon of Calvary Baptist Church.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Leanne Estes Mooneyhan; two children, Jacob Wilson Mooneyhan and Anna Kaitlin Mooneyhan, both of Franklin; a sister, Jane Ross of Franklin; and his paternal grandmother, Mary Evelyn Mooneyhan of Franklin.

Visitation begins at noon Friday and after 8 a.m. Saturday at Franklin First Baptist Church.
