Funeral Home: Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel
Phyllis J. Rogers, 72, of Bowling Green, died April 6, 2014, at The Medical Center.
The Warren County native was a daughter of the late Felix and Verta Miller Runner and was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Runner. She was a housewife, receptionist for Rogers Contracting, an employee of Fruit of the Loom and member of Seventh-day Adventist Church Sandhill. She was in the foster parenting program for 20 years.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Rogers; her children, David Rogers (Freida), Robbie Richmond (Rob), Bobby Green (Stephanie) and Lisa Rice (Jeff); nine grandchildren, April, Shery (Raymond), Krystal (Justin), Nick (Kristin), Brad (Hannah), Brittany, Ashlyn, Austin and Alli; five great-grandchildren, Zoey, Maddie, Ahylissa, Chloe and Lia, and two expectant, Gracie and baby Rice; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service is at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green chapel, with burial in Green River Union Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
