Billie Leroy Stice, 72, of Brownsville, died April 5, 2014, at the Alive Hospice Center in Madison, Tenn.

He was born May 16, 1941, to the late Everett and Mildred Stice, He was preceded in death by his sister, Martha Houchin (Allen) of Bowling Green.

Bill graduated from Edmonson County High School and studied industrial arts at Western Kentucky University. He traveled as a fruit and vegetable inspector for the federal government before returning to Brownsville to work for the Kellwood Co. Most recently, he worked as a farmer.

Bill loved and appreciated the beauty of God’s nature. Among his many hobbies were hunting, fishing, woodworking and gardening. He collected many things of interest, and he loved sharing his passion for and knowledge of his collections. He is now collecting arrowheads in Heaven.

He is survived by his brother, Jimmie Stice (Ruth) of Glasgow; his sister, Naomi Fuller (Roger) of Coldwater, Mich.; and his five nieces.

A memorial service will be May 10 in Rhoda near his residence. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to the recipient of one’s choice.
