Funeral Home: J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel
Gayla Diane Cardwell, 55, of Bowling Green, entered into rest May 1, 2014.
A native of Bowling Green, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Edward and Dorothy Webb Moore.
Gayla is survived by her husband, James Cardwell; a son, Kenneth Edward Reece (Leanna) of Bowling Green; a daughter, Melanie Fitzgerald (Thomas) of Bowling Green; a sister, Teresa Reynolds (Charlie) of Alvaton; a brother, Michael Moore (Marilyn) of Alvaton; and six grandchildren.
Gayla was a member of Church on Main in Bowling Green. She worked for DESA for 25 years and was a member of the local Sheet Metal Workers 433. Gayla also worked for Spillway Bar and Grill for 15 years and was very loved by anyone who knew her.
A memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday at J.C. Kirby & Son, Lovers Lane chapel. Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
