Rickey D. Waddell, 64, of Horse Cave, passed away June 9, 2014, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green. He was born in Barren County and was the owner/operator of Log Cabin Oil and Rickey Waddell Trucking. He was a member of Munfordville First United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Waddell. Rickey is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sherry Waddell of Horse Cave; his son, Ken Waddell and wife Julie of Bowling Green; his daughter, Beth Huff and husband Joel of Horse Cave; four grandchildren, Colt and Jake Jackson and Brinley and Bryson Huff; his mother, Grace Waddell of Glasgow; his sister, Gayle South and husband Joe of Horse Cave; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Munfordville First United Methodist Church under direction of Winn Funeral Home of Horse Cave. Burial will follow in Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery. Visitation is from 2 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the church.
