Lottice L. Hunt, 90, of Bowling Green, passed away at 9 p.m. June 21, 2014, at Greenwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Hunt was born Oct. 9, 1923, a daughter of the late John Hardcastle and Hallie Howell Hardcastle. Mrs. Hunt was preceded in death by her husband, John F.Hunt Jr.; a brother, Mitchell Hardcastle; and a sister-in-law, Louise Hardcastle.

Mrs. Hunt was a homemaker and a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hunt will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday.

Mrs. Hunt is survived by a son, Ralph Hunt (Freeda); a daughter, Linda Wright (Frank); two sisters, Edith Riley (Wayne) and Doris Hardcastle; three brothers, Kenneth Hardcastle, Maxey Hardcastle (Renetta) and Amel Hardcastle (Teresa); three grandchildren, Kimberly Gilpin (Perry) of Campbellsville, Jason Hunt (Tabitha) and Melissa Waldron (Kevin); five great-grandchildren, Justin Hayes (Jenny) of Lebanon, Ohio, Sarah Thompson (Zach) of Greensburg, John David Hunt, Jefferey David Hunt and Wyatt Luke Waldron; a great-great-grandchild, Arabella Hayes; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Hardcastle and Beulah Rhea Hunt; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion.
