Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 12 mushrooms-chop the stems
  • 1/4 c. chopped onions
  • 1/4 stick butter
  • 1 crushed garlic clove
  • 1 c. Italian bread crumbs
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
    1 tsp sage or poultry seasoning
  • Chopped row chestnuts (optional)

Directions

  1. Sauté onions in butter and add chopped stems. Flavor with salt, pepper, paprika and sage. Add bread crumbs and chestnuts.
  2. Put into the mushroom caps and bake at 450 degrees for 10-15 minutes, or just until heated.
