- 1 Whole or Semi-boneless Leg of Lamb
- 6 oz. Olive Oil
- Mint Julep Gourmet Sauce
- 6 oz. (1/2) Mint Julep Gourmet Marinade
- Southern Delight Classic Gourmet Seasoning
Mix 6 oz. olive oil with 6 oz. Mint Julep Gourmet Marinade. Using an
injector, inject into both sides of the leg of lamb at 2-3 intervals, using
1/2 of the mixture per side. Some marinade and olive oil will come to the
surface-rub it over the entire surface of the lamb. Season all sides with a
generous amount of Classic Delight Gourmet Seasoning.
Cook on home outdoor smoker for 5-12 hours (depending upon cooking
temperature of your smoker), until instant read thermometer reads 160
degrees for medium and 170 degrees for well done. Baste at about the
midpoint of cooking with Mint Julep Gourmet Sauce. When lamb has reached
desired doneness, remove from smoker and let stand for 15 minutes before
