Sweetened Stewed Tomatoes
- 4 cups ripe tomatoes (peel and cut in medium size chunks)
- 1 ½ cup sugar
- 6 biscuits (break each up in four chucks)
- ¾ stick of butter
Cook tomatoes and sugar in saucepan until glossy. Add butter and biscuits, stir well. Serve in casserole dish.
