Individual Soft Serve Homemade Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 2 T. sugar
  • 1 cup half & half
  • ½ t. vanilla
  • ½ cup salt (rock is best)
  • 1 pint zip-top bag
  • 1 gallon zip-top bag
  • Ice cubes to fill gallon size plastic bag ½ full

Directions

  1. Seal in pint zip-top bag the 2 T. sugar, 1 cup half & half, and ½ t. vanilla.

  2. Add half a cup of salt (rock is best), and ice cubes to fill gallon size plastic bag ½ full.

  3. Place small bag with ingredients, salt and ice in gallon bag.

  4. Seal.

  5. Shake until mixture hardens (about 5 minutes).

  6. Remove small bag.

  7. Add any mix-ins (M&Ms, sprinkles, chocolate chips, etc.) and eat from bag!
