Veal Caprese


  • Veal Scaloppini
  • Flour
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Olive Oil
  • Tomato Coulis
  • Fresh Mozzarella, Sliced
  • Fresh Basil


    Heat a sauté pan on medium heat. Add just enough olive oil to coat the pan. Mix the salt and pepper into the flour.

    Dredge the veal in the flour, until completely coated. Cook the veal until just browned on each side. You do not want to over cook the veal, or it will become tough.

    Spoon on the tomato coulis on the middle of each piece of veal, and top with one slice of fresh mozzarella cheese.

    Put in an oven heated to 400, just long enough to slightly melt the cheese, about 4 minutes. Top with fresh basil, and enjoy!
