Thsi quiche lorraine is anything but boring.
6 whole eggs
2 cups heavy cream
2 Tbsp. grated onion
1/2 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash white pepper
2 cups grated Swiss cheese
3/4 cup chopped, cooked bacon
2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
9” pastry shell
1. Mix eggs and cream. Add onion, basil and salt; season accordingly with white pepper and nutmeg.
2. Combine cheese and bacon; spread evenly over pastry shell.
3. Pour egg mixture into shell.
4. Bake in preheated 375° oven 40-50 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
