Ingredients

Pizza Dough

5 cups Flour
¼ oz. or 1 package Yeast
2 TBS honey
1 tsp. Salt
2 cups Water or Dark Beer
1 tsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Directions

- Pour flour and salt into mixer.
- Heat liquid to 110 degrees.
- Combine liquid with honey and yeast and whip thoroughly in a large bowl.
- Combine liquid mix with flour and salt in mixer and mix on low speed for 5 minutes.
- Place dough on lined sheet tray sprayed with non stick spray. Wrap with plastic wrap.
- Let double in volume.
- Form into balls, that are suitable for pan size. 16 oz for a 12” deep dish pan
- Place dough ball on lined sheet tray sprayed with non stick spray. Wrap with plastic wrap.
- Let double in volume.
- Spread into bottom of pan and up the sides about 1 ½ to 2”. Be sure to generously spread the flour between portions, and place a deli paper between each portion.

-To build a Chicago Stlye Pizza layer ingredients as follows:
-Cheese (Preferably Mozzarella and Provolone)
-Meat (Italian Sausage, Pepperoni, Bacon, Shrimp, Chicken, etc…..)
-Vegetables
-Tomato Sauce (home made or your favorite canned preferably chunky)
-Sprinkle of Parmesan Cheese

-Bake in a 400 degree oven for 45 minutes or until the pizza has separated a ¼” from the sides of the pan and the sauce and cheese are starting to boil
-Allow to set between 5-10 minutes, remove from pan, cut and enjoy
