Ingredients

Pumpkin Snikerdoodles

1 tube prepared sugar cookie dough
1/2 canned cup pumpkin puree
1/3 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
cinnamon for dusting

Directions

In a medium sized bowl bring sugar cookie dough to room temperature for about 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

To the bowl add the pumpkin puree, flour, sugar and pumpkin pie spice to the cookie dough. Using a fork, blend thoroughly.

Using a tablespoon or scoop, drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Take a fork and press down slightly on each mound of dough. Sprinkle with the cinnamon.

Bake in a 350 degree oven for 18-20 minutes. Remove when done, cookies will be slightly browned but soft, and place on a wire rack to cool.
Makes about 18-20.
