- 2 c crushed pretzels
- 1 1/4 c sugar
- 1 1/2 stick butter, melted
- 1-8oz container Cool Whip
- 1-8oz pkg cream cheese, softened
- 20 oz frozen strawberries
- 2 c pineapple juice*
- 2-3oz pkgs strawberry Jell-O
*Can substitute 1 c of water for 1 cup of pineapple juice
Step 1: Crust
Add together 2 c crushed pretzels, melted butter and 1/4 c sugar and mix well. Press into 9x13 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 min. Set aside and let cool.
Step 2: Whipped Filling
Mix Cool Whip, softened cream cheese and 1 c sugar in bowl. Blend well until silky smooth.
Step 3: Strawberry topping
Boil juice and add 2 pkgs of strawberry Jell-O, let completely dissolve.
Add frozen strawberries and fold mixture until a mushy consistency develops.
Fill cooled crust with whipped filling then top with cooled strawberry topping. Refrigerate and allow salad to set for at least 3 hours. Enjoy!
