Applewood Bacon & Butternut Squash Dip

Ingredients

  • 3ea. Lg. Butternut Squash Cooked, Peeled, Seeded, & Diced. (Place squash into a pot & cover with cold water. Bring to a boil, then cut to a simmer for 25min.)
  • 1.5lbs. Applewood Bacon Cooked & Crumbled
  • All Fat Remaining from Applewood bacon
  • 1cp. Sm. Diced Onions Caramelized
  • 1cp. Sm. Diced Asstd. Bell Peppers Caramelized
  • 1cp. Sour Cream
  • Salt & Pepper to Taste
  • Worcestershire & Tabasco to Taste

    Directions

    In a food processer puree Butternut Squash, Applewood Bacon, Rendered Fat from Bacon, Caramelized Onions, & Caramelized Asstd. Bell Peppers together & place puree into a large mixing bowl. Fold sour cream into puree. Adjust seasoning with Salt, Pepper, Worcestershire, & Tabasco to taste
