1 Large Salmon Fillet (with skin) 2 to 3 lbs.
Pure Virgin Olive Oil
Southern Delight Basil & Oregano No-Salt-Added Italian Seasoning Blend
1 Untreated Cedar Plank (about 16” long by 8” wide)
The day before, remove any pin bones from Salmon with needle nose pliers (discarding the bones), then rinse and place Salmon on a baking sheet. Coat Salmon (both sides) with Olive Oil. Season the flesh side of the Salmon heavily with Southern Delight Basil & Oregano No-Salt-Added Italian Seasoning Blend. If salmon is skinless, season both sides. Cover with cooking wrap, and refrigerate.
Preheat oven to 350°. Place the cedar plank on a baking sheet and pre-heat the plank for 10 min. Place salmon on preheated cedar plank and return to oven, cooking for 20-25 min., until flakey. Serve with Smoked Sausage & Rice. Serves 4-6. Enjoy!
