1 8 oz. Can No Salt Added Tomato Sauce 1 Tbsp. SD Basil & Oregano Classic Italian Seasoning Blend
1 Tbsp. Olive Oil ½ tsp. Sugar
1 C. Cheddar Cheese
1 Lb. Ground Beef ½ C. SD Smoky Pecan Peppercorn Barbecue Sauce
2 C. Grated Mozzarella Cheese 1 Roma Tomato (sliced very thin)
½ C. Thinly Sliced Onion 2 Tbsp. Grated Parmesan Cheese
1 Prepared 12” Gourmet Pizza Crust ¼ C. Olive Oil for Crust
Brown ground beef in skillet, crumble and drain. Add ½ C. SD Smoky Pecan Peppercorn Barbecue Sauce and simmer for 5 min. to reduce moisture content and set aside to cool. Preheat oven to 450°. Pour No Salt Added Tomato Sauce in medium bowl. Add 1 Tbsp. SD Basil & Oregano Classic Italian Seasoning Blend, 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil, and ½ tsp. sugar. Whisk until completely blended and set aside. Using pastry brush, brush pizza crust with olive oil, placing on pizza pan. Pour Tomato Sauce over center of crust and spread to cover. Cover sauce with 1C. Cheddar Cheese. Sprinkle BBQ Ground Beef over the Cheddar Cheese. Evenly cover meat with 2 C. Mozzarella Cheese. Place sliced Roma Tomatoes and thinly sliced onion (separated) over pizza. Sprinkle grated Parmesan Cheese over top. Place in oven, reducing temperature to 425°, and bake for 7-10min. Makes 8 slices. Enjoy!
