ALL SEASONS'S BEER CAN CHICKEN W/ HONEY MARINADE
1 whole chicken
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup soy
1/3 cup minced onion
2 tbs grated fresh ginger
2 minced garlic cloves
2 tsp paprika
1 can of beer
1 can of chicken broth
Combine first 5 ingredients in a large heavy duty zip lock plastic bag and mix thoroughly. Add chicken and refrigerate for at least one hour turning at least once.
Remove chicken from marinade and place chicken over half a can of opened beer with a metal catch pan underneath. Pour remaining marinade over chicken and remaining beer along with chicken broth into catch pan.
Preheat gas grill or smoker to 375 degrees and cook chicken for 45 minutes. Sprinkle chicken with paprika and bake for another 45 minutes or until meat thermometer reads an internal temperature of 155 degrees. Remove from heat and let stand for 10 minutes.
Cut and serve with lemon slice garnish.
