Garlic Roasted Onions and Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 6-8 red potatoes scrubbed, leave skins on
  • 1 stick of butter or margarine
  • 1 sweet yellow onion, sliced medium
  • 2 tablespoons Ms Dash Garlic & Herb Seasoning

    Directions

    Preheat oven to 350. Place stick of butter in 8x8 baking dish and place in oven while preheating. Quarter potates. Remove baking dish from oven and add seasoning. Stir well. Add potatoes and onions, stir to coat with butter mixture. Cover with aluminum foil and place in oven. Bake 15 minutes and remove, stir well and return to oven uncovered until potates break easily with side of fork (about another 20-25 minutes), stir once more half way through time.


    Grill version. Make 4 large packet of heavy duty foil. Add 1/4 stick of butter to each, sprinke in 1/2 tbsp of seasoning, add 2 potatoes, cut into bite size pieces. Fold packet shut and place on grill. Wait about 5 minutes and turn packet over. Cook 15-20 minutes turning once more.
