• 2 ¼ cups Flour
  • 2 Cups Sugar
  • 1 pkg. Chocolate Instant Pudding****
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1 tsp. Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups Buttermilk


    Sift the dry ingredients together and make a well in the middle. Add the following:

    1 cup Vegetable Oil 2 eggs 2 cups Buttermilk

    Mix well. Place into either a greased and floured pan or one sprayed with cooking spray. Pour into either a 9 X 13 pan or 2 round cake pans. Bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees.

    Let cakes cool and frost with your favorite frosting.

    ****You may use any flavor Instant Pudding you like, this will change to flavor of the cake you bake.


    Take ¼ cup Strawberry Preserves and add couple drops of water to thin a little. Frost top of bottom cake then spread Strawberry preserves on top. Put second cake on top and continue frosting entire cake.
