1 cups dark brown sugar
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1/2 medium red onion
2 cup crushed pineapple
i cup raisins
1 fresh ham 1/2" slices)
1 tsp cornstarch (dissolved in 1 tbsp water)
Mix brown sugar, mustard, ginger and cloves into mixing bowl. Transfer 1 cup
into saucepan reserving the remainder for glaze.
Add pineapple, onion and raisins to mixture and bring to a simmer on medium
heat for approx. 10 minutes or until mixture is thickened. Add cornstarch
and simmer until syrupy.
On medium heat, grill ham four minutes to a side for sixteen minutes. Baste
with brown sugar mixture and grill until mixture is hardened (approx 2-3
minutes to side).
Serve ham with sauce on side.
