12 ounce package dried apricots
1 2.52 ounce package pre cooked bacon
1/2 cup your favorite BBQ Sauce
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon brown mustard
minced chives for garnish
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Pick out 36 apricots that are about the same size. Cut 12 of the bacon strips into 3 pieces. Wrap each of the apricots with a piece of the bacon and secure with a toothpick. Place each of the bacon wrapped apricots on a cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil.
In a small bowl combine the BBQ Sauce, honey, and mustard. Using a pastry brush, coat each of the apricots with the sauce. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 5-6 minutes. Remove and serve warm. Garnish with minced chives. Makes 36” bites”.
