Chocolate Pecan Pie


2 T butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 T flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup chocolate chips
deep dish pie crust
handful whole pecans


Combine ingredients in order given; beat well.
Pour into an unbaked deep dish pie crust.
Add whole pecans to top of filling.
Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 30-45 minutes longer.
