Makes 18 servings
1-1/2 sticks of butter, divided and melted
1 (20-ounce) can peach or cherry pie filling
1 (20-ounce) can crushed pineapple
1 (16 to 17-ounce) box pudding cake mix, white or yellow
1/3 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Pour 1/2 stick of the melted butter into a 9x13-inch casserole pan and swirl butter coating the bottom and sides.
Add the cake mix to the pan. Then add the cherry pie and pineapple over the cake mix, spreading evenly over the top.
Top with the remaining melted butter and sprinkle with the pecans. Bake for about 35-40 minutes until bubbly
