How you can report potholes online and on your phone

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- Tired of running over the same pothole on your way to work every morning? Let the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet know about it.

Through a recently revamped web application, all it takes is a few clicks.

It's not a new feature, but the KYTC aims to make it easier to report road fixtures that need repairing like not only potholes, but also fallen street signs, downed street lights, broken traffic signals, and damaged guard rails.

"We've had a lot of ice this season, and a lot of rain on top of that, and that really helps create a lot of the potholes," said Wes Watt of The KYTC, "so we've been very busy."

By visiting and then clicking "contact us" and then "report a pothole".

You will be directed to an online form that looks like this:

From there you can describe exactly what the problem is and where the KYTC can find it.

You can also call 1-800-PATCH-IT to report a pothole.
