10 year anniversary of Apple's iPhone

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - This year marks the ten year anniversary of the change in the way we used our cell phones.

The iPhone was introduced in 2007 and was a way to make a call, send a text, browse the internet, and listen to your favorite songs on one device.

It also helped make looking something up online and accessing social media easier as Jacob Bell with ByteForce Tech Pros explains:

"They really streamlined the easiness of being able to jump on Facebook really quick and just look at stuff versus having to flip your phone up and having to type in everything. They didn't really have apps back then, it was more just the web browser."

Those with ByteForce say iPhones set the standard for how all phones are made. They also changed the way our phones are repaired with more and smaller parts.
