The Barren County Sheriff's Office says Lee Ann Tarry was served with an arrest warrant January 27, charging her with murder and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs.
The Barren County Sheriff's Office says 24-year-old Shanda Shockley was killed in a rear-end collision on Veterans Outer Loop in Glasgow near the intersection of Edmonton Road.
Deputies say Shockley was stopped at a red light when she was struck from behind by a car driven by 47-year-old Lee Ann Tarry, pushing Shockley's car into the intersection.
Shockley was sent to TJ Sampson Hospital where she eventually passed away.
The Barren County Sheriff's Office says they believe alcohol may have a played a role in Tarry's driving. An investigation is ongoing.
