NAT'S Bikes for Kids

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - Nat's Bikes for Kids enters 23rd year. They have handed out over 4,000 bikes to date.

The annual drive helps children in the local community by giving them bikes for Christmas.

The outdoor store will accept donations of bikes, tune them up and distribute them to kids.

Store owner Lisa Martens is excited to see how many they get this year.

"We've distributed over 4,000 bikes in the last 23 years. We will start collecting bikes next week, the first week of November. And we will fix those bikes up and distribute them through two local clubs this year. We are working with the Boys and Girls Club of Bowling Green and also the local schools family resource centers," said Martens.

If you have an extra bike laying around be sure to bring it in to Nat's Outdoor Sports at 1121 Wilkinson Trace.
