A traffic stop lands one woman behind bars in Logan County

Russellville, Ky (WBKO) -- A woman is behind bars after police say they found meth in her vehicle during a traffic stop in Logan County.

On Thursday, May 18, deputies say they stopped 38- year-old Julie Garrett for speeding.

Officers say Garrett approved the search of her vehicle.

Police say they found methamphetamine during the search of her Dodge Ram.

Garrett's charges range from possession of a controlled substance to operating a vehicle under a suspended license.

Garrett is being held in the Logan County Detention Center.
