WARREN COUNTY, Ky. (WBKO) -- The Warren County Sheriff's Office says they responded to a crash involving a 1994 Mitsubishi on Sunday morning.
The WCSO says 24-year-old Reginald Sprawl of South Carolina was traveling outbound near 5432 Plano Rd when he left the roadway, hitting a utility pole, and flipping the car.
The passenger in the vehicle was 33-year-old Jessica Whiledge of Alvaton. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, Reginald Sprawl, was flown to TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Tennessee for his injuries, where police say he is in critical condition.
The WCSO believes that drugs, alcohol, speed, and weather conditions were all contributing factors to the crash. The investigation is still ongoing.
