Barren County Sheriff's Office investigating alleged shooting

GLASGOW, Ky. (WBKO) -- The Barren County Sheriff's Office has confirmed deputies are investigating an alleged shooting.

Deputies say they were called on Saturday night around 4:55 p.m. to T.J. Samson Hospital in reference to a man who had come in with multiple gunshot wounds.

The sheriff's office says the victim sustained non-life threatening injuries, was treated, and later released from the hospital.

The Barren County Sheriff's Office says an arrest warrant has been obtained for the alleged shooter.

Deputies say 28-year-old Joshua Geralds of Glasgow is wanted for attempted murder.

The sheriff's office is asking for anyone with information on where Geralds may be to contact them at 270-651-2771, or 270-646-8771.

Officials are not releasing the victim's name at this time.
