COLUMBIA, Ky. (WBKO) – A Burkesville man was arrested Thursday after allegedly calling in a bomb threat to the Cumberland County Justice Center.
Kentucky State Police says the received a call around 8:31 a.m. about a threat sent to three first responders via text message stating there was a bomb in the Justice Center. Everyone was evacuated and the building was closed along with Main Street and the surrounding area.
KSP personnel and KSP K9 searched the building, but no threats were found.
After investigation, Joshua D. Norris, 28, was arrested and charged with nine counts of Terroristic Threatening, 1st degree.
