Florida man lands behind bars in Barren County after a pursuit.
Officials say, on January 1st, 2018 they saw a black 2017 Nissan passenger car on Happy Valley Street driving at a very high rate of speed.
Officers tried to stop the car but it continued West on Happy Valley Street driving fast, it then went on to Sanders Street then onto Doyle Avenue.
The car then left Doyle Avenue and continued into a field behind Super 8 Motel.
Barren County Deputies found the car upside down in a sink hole.
After a brief investigation, officials determined the car was a rental and who the driver was.
Authorities went back to the scene and found Justin Foster of Tampa, Florida, after being interviewed, he was placed under arrest.
Foster was charged with Reckless driving, wanton endangerment-2nd degree, wanton endangerment 2nd degree-police officer, disregarding traffic control device, fleeing or evading police 1st degree (Motor Vehicle), leaving scene of accident, fleeing or evading police 2nd degree(on Foot), possession of controlled substance 1st degree methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia-buy/possess.
