BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- Santa Claus came to town on Saturday for one of the last times before Christmas day.
Chaney's Dairy Barn hosted its annual 'Breakfast with Santa.' The tradition dates back to about nine years ago. It's become so popular that Saturday's event was Chaney's ninth and final of the season.
Folks could make reservations, but almost each event included a small waiting list.
"I get so many people tell me 'oh man, this is our tradition, we've been doing it, we've been here every year you've been doing it,' and I'm like you know, it's my tradition," said Carl Chaney, one of the owners. "Debra and I and our whole crew get to be a part of everybody's Christmas. It's just really neat."
Saturday morning included a hardy breakfast, meeting Santa, making crafts and Carl's tradition of reading "Twas the Night Before Christmas," his personal favorite part of the event.
