...HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS FOR MUCH OF THE WBKO VIEWING AREA FRIDAY...
Around an inch to an inch-plus of snow fell across the area Thursday night. Icy roads are a problem for much of the area as temperatures are starting in the teens and 20s. We may see a few more flurries or brief snow showers Friday, especially near the Tennessee border with little additional accumulation expected.
The coldest weekend of the Winter season thus far will bring sunshine but temperatures will struggle to reach into the 20s Friday and Saturday. Overnight lows will dip into the SINGLE DIGITS Friday and Saturday night!
Warmer air returns next week along with a better chance of rain. Highs will rise back into the 50s with an unsettled pattern through Thursday.
