The Commonwealth Bowl of Kentucky is a friendly competition among Area Development District across the state for hunger relief.
The goal is to raise 400,000 pounds of food or $50,000 in honor of the 50th anniversary of the state legislation that created the Area Development Districts.
Caleb Speck with the Barren River Area District says there are two simple ways you can help, by donating canned goods or giving a monetary donation.
The drive is taking place now through October 27. BRADD will also set up at all three Bowling Green Kroger locations that day, where customers can donate canned goods as they complete their shopping list.
