Crime Stoppers: WKU Car Break-ins

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- Western Kentucky University Police say on Monday, November 13, they received numerous calls from victims, saying their cars had been ransacked and many items stolen.

They were able to determine at least six cars were broken into in one lot and more from lots all across the campus. Officers believe several thousands of dollars in property was taken from the cars and hundreds more in broken windows.

Officers found the suspect vehicle in the Normal Street lot. They could see a burgundy four-door car park in the lot and three males exit and begin checking cars. The video shows three males walking, all wearing dark clothing and carrying backpacks.
