GLASGOW, Ky. (WBKO) – A Fountain Run man was arrested Sunday after allegedly being under the influence and in possession of methamphetamine.
The Barren County Sheriff’s Office went to a home on Harwood Street for a follow up investigation and found Robert D. Jessie sitting in a vehicle in the driveway. According to BCSO, Jessie appeared to be under the influence and failed a field sobriety test.
Jessie was placed under arrest, and told deputies he had a bag of “dope” in the center console of his vehicle. Deputies found a bag containing a crystal rock substance suspected to be methamphetamine.
Jessie was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs 2nd offense, and possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense, methamphetamine.
