LEITCHFIELD, Ky. (WBKO) -- Tuesday's Grayson County teacher arrest marks the fourth one in a year and a half for the school district.
Middle school teacher, John Cariel, was arrested on Tuesday. Prior, high school teacher Roger Williams was arrested last week after allegations of abuse of a minor arose. Kentucky State Police Post 4 is currently investigating his case.
"Mr. Williams' case is still an active investigation. We're still interviewing potential witnesses and potential victims that might come forward at some point," said Trooper Scotty Sharp.
In March 2018, Grayson County High School teacher, Jonathan Jones was arrested after accusations he was having an inappropriate sexual relationship with a student. Then back in 2016, former Grayson County teacher and baseball coach, Gavin Logsdon was charged with third-degree rape. KSP Post Four is also helping to investigate this case.
"Mr. Logsdon's case is in the court system right now, being handled by the prosecutors," said Trooper Sharp.
Kentucky State Police say, there is a chance Logsdon could get a change of venue to be tried in a different county.
