GLASGOW, Ky. (WBKO) - The Barren River Drug Task Force says gambling machines and various other gambling related items were found after they and the Glasgow Police Department responded to reports of illegal gambling.

On Thursday, the agencies executed search warrants at 200 Columbia Avenue (Z-Mart), 114 Columbia Avenue, and 105 Central Avenue in reference to suspected illegal gambling and promoting gambling.

Glasgow police received reports of possible gambling and promoting gambling at these locations and the drug task force received reports of increased drug activity in the same surrounding areas.

The joint investigation led to three search warrants and detectives say they recovered 11 gambling machines, a money counter, receipts, cash and various other gambling related items.

No arrests have been made, but the incident remains under investigation.
