WBKO 13News First Alert Forecast

Monday, January 9, 2017
The coldest weekend of the winter season is now behind us, as a warming trend will finally be under way.
Warmer air returns for the week ahead, along with a better chance of rain. Highs will rise back into the 50s and even lower 60s late in the period. Things stay unsettled all the way into Friday and next weekend as a battle zone between warmth and the arctic sets up right on top of the Ohio Valley. This places all possibilities of weather on the table, but it is expected that the warm air should win out for now. Expect gusty winds, thunder and heavy rain at times Tuesday through the upcoming weekend.
