The ex-police officer accused of shooting a telephone repairman on a service call in Scottsville is now under house arrest.
William Calvert was released on a $100,000 dollar bond with several conditions.
Scottsville Police say Calvert shot Jeffrey Powell who was working at Calvert's home last November.
Powell was airlifted to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville where he was listed in stable condition the night of the shooting.
Calvert's wife Marcia was present at the time of the shooting but was not injured.
