BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- To give area high school students interested in medicine a chance to see what the field is really like, Med Center Health hosted a Career Shadowing Day.
But it wasn't just a meet and greet.
Students actually got to see how doctors treat stroke victims in the Emergency Room.
Warren Central's Kyle Torrence wants to be an Emergency Medicine Physician.
"It's such a great opportunity to learn about the different careers that the Medical Center offers and uh, y'know just the different specialties," Torrence says. "And to be able to be a part of different scenarios that they offer it's just an amazing experience to be here."
This Career Shadowing Day was a joint effort of Med Center Health and the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce.
